This project aims to design and build a scaled down version of a vehicle-to-grid (V2G) system to demonstrate the applicability of this concept in energy management. A toy electronic car will be used as an electric vehicle and a supercapacitor is used as its battery. Students are expected to design and build a wireless power interface between the car and the grid to facilitate both the charging and discharging process of the supercapacitor while displaying the details of the charging process.
