Project #73: An Integrated Simulation System for Wireless Power Design

Back

Description:

Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) has become a popular technology for driving modern electronic devices. However, due to its engineering nature, the current design and production of WPT are mainly experimental based. This project aims at the development of a simulation software that supports the visual design of WPT. The proposed tool will serve as an integrated simulation environment for designing WPT systems, which includes common Computer Aided Design (CAD) features such as graphical user interface, data setting, parameter tuning and prediction, interactions with existing simulators, design validation and verification. A prototype system will be developed to realise the proposed solution, which provides a flexible user framework for integrating with common simulators, such as Matlab, CST, LTSpice, etc., as back-end usage. Proper evaluations will be conducted to measure the effectiveness of the solution. This will be an industry sponsored project by PowerbyProxi (https://powerbyproxi.com).
