Project #72: Steering wheel force feedback control for robotic driver test rig

Back

Description:

To test the UoA robotic driver hardware and software thoroughly, a test rig was developed. This test rig is to be used to emulate the forces applied on the robotic driver when driving a real car. This project will focus on designing and developing a force-feedback system where a suitable resistance force is applied to the steering wheel of the car based on the car dynamics (e.g. wheel angles, car speeds, etc.). If you are interested in this project, please email me (h.namik@auckland.ac.nz) to setup a time to discuss.
