This project was run in 2013 and 2014 and compared fuel consumption figures for 91, 95, 98, and fuels with up to 10 % ethanol. The 2014 project used a Ricardo single cylinder research engine in the Thermodynamics laboratory.
Previous projects looked at fuel consumption differences. This project will look specifically at tailpipe emissions on a modern vehicle.
