Description:

The aim of the project is to develop a multirotor UAV that is capable of landing on farm fence posts. Objectives include developing new landing gear to grasp and perch on a post and to modify an autonomous landing controller using visual tracking of the post. Studies will consider the effect of such things as post size, target colour, and wind conditions on performance.
