Inverse aerodynamic design allows the calculation of a wing geometry that has a desired pressure distribution. This project will involve the writing of an inverse design program using Matlab, which will allow the inverse design of yacht sails.

A panel code for analysis and inverse design of aerofoils and sails.

Prerequisites

Good grades in Mecheng.325 and EngSci.311. Must be enrolled in Mecheng.712. Will require Matlab programming.
