Project #29: Human-Centered Interfaces for Modern Intelligence Environments

Back

Description:

As the number of smart devices increases, they have become a popular platform for developing and investigating new and emerging technologies. The University of Auckland has an existing "Intelligent Environment" room, designed for research and development in this area. This project involves designing new functionalities for that room, updating the hardware of the room and adding additional features. This includes new sensing capabilities and implementation of a web interface for real time monitoring and integration with other user interface technologies such as voice control and augmented reality, as part of the room's "interface".

Type:

Undergraduate

Outcome:

- Research new user interface technologies which may be suitable for the IE room
