Project #60: Vehicle Simulator for Robotic Driver Testing

Back

Description:

To test the UoA robotic driver hardware and software thoroughly, a test rig was developed. This test rig is to be used to emulate the forces applied on the robotic driver when driving a real car. This project will focus on further developing the force-feedback/haptic system where a suitable resistance force is applied to the steering wheel of the car based on high-fidelity car model (to be developed) running in real time. If you are interested in this project, please email me (h.namik@auckland.ac.nz) to setup a time to discuss.
