The aim of the project is to develop a skydiver tracking system for a unique UAV platform that uses adjustable vanes to control the aerodynamic forces. Only the yaw flight axis will be considered but tests will span simulation, wind tunnel, and skydive experiments. The inclusion of a recovery parachute will also be considered.
Undergraduate
At least one BE Mechatronics student. Enrolment in MECHENG 712 (Aerohydrodynamics) recommended.
