Description:

Adapt the CDAM Lab binder jetting printer to be able to print in sand-casting sands in order to create ready-to-cast molds. The project will include finding/sourcing suitable sand powders and binders for the machine, developing the print parameters for these materials, and the post-processing techniques to get the unbound sand out of the green molds without damaging them.
