Project #25: Aerial Drilling

Back

Description:

Drones have proven to be invaluable tools for precision applications but pose potential dangers and hazards to human workers. These applications include maintenance of electrical powerlines, repairs on towering structures, upkeep of offshore infrastructure, and management of similarly inaccessible and isolated environments.

Our project aims to explore the feasibility of developing a drone equipped with an integrated drilling attachment, envisioning its utility in precisely drilling vertical surfaces.
