The project will involve development and testing of a system that utilizes tidal flows for improving growth of shellfish (e.g., mussels, oysters, scallops, geoducks, and bonanza clams) at aquafarms. CFD modelling will be used in the theoretical analysis, followed by laboratory and ocean testing of the develpoed prototypes.
