Project #118: Machine learning applied to behavioural markers in beehives

Back

Description:

A research project the a the UoA is developing a novel behavioural monitoring system for beehives. A part of this system will require the analysis of large sets of multivariate time-series data. This project will utilise existing datasets to develop ML methods that might be best suited to identifying changes in circadian rhythms that are predictive of certain events. It will require understanding some biological principles, data cleaning, and advanced analysis.

All applicants are required to meet the supervisor before submission of the project preferences.
