Project #125: [Industry sponsored] Design and development of a sensor to measure humidified carbon dioxide flow

Back

Description:

During product testing, we often measure the flow rate of our products to verify our system. We would like to upgrade our in-house built measurement devices to add in more capabilities for product testing which brings in some interesting new design challenges. The new flow measurement device shall aim to measure the flow and composition of humidified CO2 with minimal impact to the system (system pressure, dry temperature, and humidity content). The design shall be easy to maintain and integrate into the current product testing practices. The deliverable for this project is a design and proof of concept prototype.

NOTE: Due to academic leave, the project will be supervised in semester one by Dr. Jonathan Stringer.
